The 1841 England & Wales Census recorded the families of Lawrence (b1792) and Mary and of Thomas (b1786) and Sarah living in the Parish of Whixley on the same page (13/5). Lawrence (then 50 years old) and Mary (44 years)’s family is listed third on the left. Lawrence’s occupation is listed as “”AgLab” – agricultural labourer?. Their children are listed as Richard (11years), Hannah (8 years), Sarah (7 years), Lawrence (5 years) and William (2 years). The household of Thomas Daniel, a 55 year old farmer, and his wife Sarah (48 years) can be seen at the top left. Their son (implied) George (13 years) and John Daniel (1761-1846) then 80 years old were also living there. I cannot decipher the profession of John Daniel who’s gravestone can be seen above.
